About the Role:

MovieWeb is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Coordinator to oversee and grow our presence across key platforms, with a primary focus on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone passionate about pop culture, skilled in crafting viral content, and experienced in fostering audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow assigned social media pages, particularly Facebook, by curating and publishing relevant, engaging content.
  • Create visually compelling posts—including memes and image-based content—for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Select and share on-brand, socially relevant articles that align with CBR’s voice and appeal to our audience.
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored to each platform’s tone and user expectations.
  • Schedule content (images, links, and videos) in an organized, timely fashion to ensure consistent posting.
  • Actively manage community interactions to foster engagement and maintain a positive brand presence.
  • Analyze key social media metrics and provide regular insights and feedback to optimize performance.
  • Adhere to CBR’s social media guidelines and platform-specific best practices.
  • Attend occasional team meetings and contribute ideas to help enhance content strategies.
  • Complete additional social media-related tasks as assigned by CBR’s management team.

Goals:

  • Drive significant referral traffic to the site through social-first content strategies.
  • Expand social media reach and engagement across all assigned platforms.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent, compelling voice for each assigned page.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years experience managing social media for a digital brand or publication.
  • Demonstrated success in growing audiences and generating traffic via social platforms.
  • Proficiency in using tools like Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar scheduling platforms.
  • Strong understanding of meme culture, pop culture trends, and internet communities.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a sharp eye for visuals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced digital environment.
